Hi. Thanks for visiting my little corner of the internet! Here is a collection of my various projects I’m working on (mostly writing and music related) along with notes from books I’ve read that might be useful to other people too.

When I’m not thinking about books and music, you can find me outside gardening, working at a bakery, working backstage at music events, and occasionally hosting the evening science show (Perpetual Notion Machine) on WORT FM.

Here are some other facts about myself:

I have four cats

and three backyard chickens

I collect decks of cards

My favorite movie is the Sound of Music (closely followed by Interstellar)

I am passionate about making ice cream (it was once featured on a restaurant menu)

I was once bit by a dog while delivering mail

When I was 11, I learned how to drive a tractor and worked on our family farm

I have three unfinished novels (someday I’ll finish them…hopefully)

My favorite Philosopher is Seneca

I used to be a forklift driver 

After that I worked as a line cook in a fine dining restaurant

I received the only bachelors degree in music composition in a class of over 7,500

I also have a philosophy degree (in case the music thing didn’t work out)

I don’t like bios, which is why you are getting an assortment of facts instead (which I think is both more fun, and more revealing)
